We had a great call with Vanessa. She was very helpful in guiding us through key financial decisions to consider as a couple. She brought up some topics we hadn’t thought about, and provided helpful ways to think through them / come to a decision. Vanessa also sent us helpful templates and budgeting guides after the call that are super helpful. We plan to do another call with her in the near future.

I found my experience very rewarding! Vanessa knew exactly the questions to ask to be able to guide my session and help me get the most out of our session. She made me feel comfortable and helped me set reasonable goals for spending, investing, retirement, etc. I will consider doing it again in the future as questions arise! I recommend coming prepared with your finance data ready as that helped me.

I had a really productive session with Vanessa. She was friendly, smart, and most importantly, helpful. After a brief intro to contextualize our backgrounds and why I had booked the session, she asked a series of probing questions to steer the conversation to a place I felt really had me reflecting and thinking about my financial status in ways I previously hadn't. I genuinely feel that I have a better grip on my finances and clearer understanding of my current situation, as well as what I need to do to where I want to be.

Vanessa is awesome at what she does! Within two sessions, she's totally changed the way I approach my spending and saving goals. She keeps our meetings on track and makes sure that I have actionable next steps at the end. Every time I've met with her, I leave feeling more confident about my money plan and more prepared to actually meet my goals.

Vanessa started off by asking me to describe how I would judge the success of our session. I had come in with somewhat generic questions, so it was really helpful to bounce things off of her to narrow down exactly what I was looking for. My main focus was learning about retirement planning. She met me on my level and walked me through things in a manner and at a pace that was not at all overwhelming. She stopped along the way to expand upon or clarify things I was confused about. I left the session knowing exactly what steps I needed to take next. Overall, it was a highly personalized and helpful experience. I came into it a bit nervous that I didn't know enough about finance to feel comfortable having a conversation, but I was totally wrong. 10 out of 10!

First session together, so initial part of the call was "getting to know" eachother and my current financial status. In her intro she made it clear what she can versus cannot provide me, for example she is not a tax professional - thought her intro was helpful. Vibes were good. Felt comfortable and therapist like.
